An excellent opportunity has arisen for an individual looking to further their career with Arrow XL. We are currently looking for an experienced individual to join our team. Reporting to a Senior Manager within a busy Warehouse/Transport environment - the main duties of this role will include:
Planning, organising and coordinating of the day to day activities of a number of employees within an area of the Transport/Warehouse Operation. Ensuring crew members adhere to agreed procedures and practices.
Supervise all team members under your area of responsibility ensuring each customer promise is met with adherence to the Client’s service level agreement and Arrow XL’s agreed processes.
Report daily on all attendance, performance and timekeeping issues escalating any areas of concern to the service delivery team manager.
Liaise with all colleagues within the other operational areas and other departments within Arrow XL to ensure all activities are coordinated to support the overall operational requirements of the business.
Liaison with customer’s representatives.
Management of performance KPIs.
Management of human resources including recruitment, training, coaching and disciplinary matters where appropriate.
Ideally, the successful candidate should have previous line management experience within a Logistics environment and have knowledge of logistics/distribution operations whilst adhering to stringent Health and Safety guidelines. They will possess excellent communication (written and verbal), IT and leadership skills along with knowledge of basic transport legislation and be a driving license holder.
