Media Statement on ArrowXL Worcester HUB, Blackpole, Worcester
There has been a major fire at the Worcester hub of ArrowXL, the UK’s leading two-man home delivery specialists.
Fire crews are on site, and ArrowXL’s business continuity plan is in place. The 200,000 sq ft building has been evacuated and all colleagues have been accounted for and are safe and well, with the safety of our staff being our number one priority.
Equally, plans are being finalised for our customers to move operations from Worcester to a group owned site.
Around 150 to 200 staff are based at ArrowXL’s Worcester hub at any one time, which handles deliveries for Midlands and South West.
ArrowXL’s Worcester hub has been operating since 1994. It is one of four hubs and 17 satellite bases. ArrowXL operate 230 delivery vehicles on the road six days a week.
ArrowXL delivers 14,000 products to more than 7,000 homes every day, covering 98 per cent of the UK mainland population, Monday to Saturday.

ArrowXL specialises in large, fragile, and bulky items up to 120kg, which are delivered by the two-man delivery teams into the customer’s home and into their room of choice.
Teams are trained in specialist two-man product handling and across the range of value-added, in-home services under ArrowXL’s training and induction academy called PRIDE.
ArrowXL provides a host of in-home services such as white goods connection, assembling flat-pack furniture, and an unpacking, positioning and packaging removal service.
